Amy Rogg (she/her) is an activator and nurturer of the human spirit. She is Taiwanese and white of Jewish descent, born in Denver Colorado, raised mostly in the Bay Area, and a new resident of NYC. She is the conduit, creator, and facilitator of Underbelly: The Art of Slowing Down, a spacious and meditative movement practice now based in Brooklyn. Amy has a B.A. in television/film production and studied acting/improv in Los Angeles. She has led yoga and meditation for over a decade, is a certified herbalist, and has been a part of in the conscious movement scene since 2012. She grew up playing piano and violin, and has sung in various choirs, musicals and song circles over the years. She’s most alive when improvising-whether it be in music, movement, singing, acting, comedy, art, and life. She’s always been on the dancing side of things and is excited to experiment on the musical side!
Thomas Walker (he/him) is a friend of trees and lover of sound (and sound’s big sister, silence). Originally from Northern California, he currently works as a hospice chaplain based in Brooklyn. Thomas graduated from Union Theological Seminary with an M.Div in Buddhism and Interreligious Engagement, and trained at the Naropa Center for Psychedelic Studies as well as Mount Sinai Hospital. He loves to dance, sing, and meditate.
