Valeria Itriago & Val Domingo —
Valeria Itriago and Val Domingo are a sonic duo based in New York, known for crafting sober psychedelic sound experiences that explore trance, emotional release, and nervous system alchemy through vibration, voice, and movement.
Together, they co-create Sound Capsules, a live immersive sound journey that merges trauma-informed somatic guidance, ancient ritual, and contemporary sound design. These journeys have been featured in spaces like Reforesters and Othership NYC, where they hold space for deep listening, energetic regulation, and altered states of awareness .
Valeria is a multidisciplinary somatic embodiment and movement coach, trained performative dancer, and experienced vocal artist. Her practice bridges sound, breathwork, and movement as a form of emotional release and integration. With a background in chakra activation, nervous system regulation, and energy work, she uses voice as a healing instrument — channeling layered vocal landscapes that move energy through the body and tap into ancestral memory.
Val Domingo (they/them) is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator. As a classically trained violist and conductor, their work blends chamber traditions with improvisation, live looping, and ambient sonic textures. They are the founder of Brooklyn Chamber Players and co-curator of Conjure Arts Collective. Their solo and collaborative projects span classical, experimental, jazz, and electronic music — creating soundscapes that are both grounding and otherworldly.
Whether through live performance, sound immersion, or ritual-based offerings, Val & Val invite participants to lie down, drop in, and be transformed by sound. Their work centers on embodiment, collective healing, and the reclamation of altered states as tools for personal and communal liberation.
